G F M A: Tournament

Tournaments

Wow! The 2015 in-house tournament which took place on Saturday June 20 at the Ice Palace in Keswick was a another roaring success. This was our 19th annual event, and over 60 students participated. We raised $1,115 for charity.

The theme for the 2015 tournament was "Do Your Best."  Students participated in three events ... breakfalls/forms, sparring and grappling ... and they also broke boards for charity.

We would like to thank Cole Engravers for doing an awesome job on the medals.

We would also like to thank Nicholas, Dalton, Mitchell, Justin, Mackenzie, Nicoletta, Vagely, Deven, Alex, Jeffrey, Aidan and Kyle for their excellent judging.

And finally, we would like to thank Cindy O'Brien, Marny Watson and Glenn Peters for doing an awesome job in the kitchen.

Thanks to all the students, parents and volunteers, we had a fantastic day!

Thank you everyone!

2. Wrap the side of the belt that is hanging to the left around the left waist and around the body all the way around to the front, so that it is underneath the belt that is hanging to the right.
